TechAngels is actively contributing to the development of tech businesses from Romania and South-Eastern Europe through investment, expertise and connections since 2013.
About
TechAngels was created in 2013 to fill the need of having a common “meeting place” between early stage technology startups and the investors looking for investment opportunities.
The group has two main directives: to educate and support young entrepreneurs through investments, access to acceleration programs and a sum of various other resources needed to grow their business, and to encourage potential business angels to take their first steps in this area of expertise.
For whoever is taking into consideration becoming a technology business angel investor, being part of TechAngels is the best solution: as a member of the group, you have access to a considerable number of startups looking for funding, you can benefit from the investment-focused workshops, shared experiences from the other members, and you can make your first investments - either as a private investor or as a syndicate partner - with guidance from the most experienced technology business angels.

Criteria
Before applying for financing make sure you meet our criteria.

Team
We're especially interested in experienced teams, with good professional expertise and proven track record.

Market
We facilitate investments in mostly tech projects, focusing especially on web, mobile, software and hardware.

Stage
We're mostly interested in projects that have at least a prototype, or have reached the
product/market fit stage.

Investment
The most common investments will vary between 10.000 and 200.000 EUR.

We facilitate investments in mostly tech projects, focusing especially (but not exclusively) on web, mobile, embedded software, hardware, meditech. Over the years, our >30 members have been involved, through investment and mentorship, in a great number of success startups.
